Gloucester MS 13th May 2018

Another sunny day and two members set off for Gloucester. Thanks to Todd for stepping in at the last moment as cover for Mike H who had a “Great” fall, and has been put back together again.

The venue was the Churchdown Community Hall, a very good venue spread over three rooms, we were in the main hall with a few of the larger traders.

Foot fall was quiet compared to most shows, but there was a steady stream of visitors.

We didn’t take the display stand, there only being two of us, it meant we could load up with extra models and under table kit sales.

I managed to sell everything I brought along, which is good for our Model Show on the 2nd of June, as I was able to place an order with MDP for a couple of Nuts Planet figures for collection at our show.

Todd eventually made his mind up and purchased a 1/48 Scale F-104C Starfighter ‘US Air Force’ by Hasegawa. With my up coming Mosquito build I purchased several sheets of wood decals by Uschi, looking forward to see how these work out.

Also picked up a sheet of their latest Grafitti decals:

All in all a good day out. Not too long a drive especially in the sunshine, thanks to Todd for his company.
