1st June Salisbury Model Show 2019

“The friendliest Model Show in the South“, well I think we lived up to that statement this year.

We had over twenty clubs and over ten traders who were joined by nearly four hundred members of the public on hot sunny day.

Now spread over two halls our model show grows year on year as does the quality of models on show on club stands.

This year we had two tables, well three if you count our in house Revell competition table, our main table was in the main hall, this was themed “Made in Britain”, the other table in the second hall, we called our alternative model show.

A huge thank you to Tony H for organising the show, thanks to Steve S (and his ladies) on catering, Mick E for the tombola, Don B as Head of FOH, John K & Mike M for marshalling the car park, Chris S for running the competition (and to the members who judges the event) and to all our members for helping out on Friday setting up, for helping the traders get in and out on Saturday and for the huge effort in breaking down the show.

Well done one and all.
