7th Jan Club Meet 2025

The festive season has come to an end, the xmas decs have been cleared away, and winter has finally decide to make an appearance.

But a few brave souls, well some club members at least, rocked up for the first meeting of the new year. Plenty of xmas goodies on show, a few look as if they have already been started…

Tony H brought along his WIP HMS Snake, all wooden construction, looks impressive it its present state, Chris S looks as if he is adding to his Arnhem diorama, hope its not a diorama too far for him. Nick W has a Vampire on the go, Phil L looks as if he is building a fleet of Revell 1/48 Tornados & Richard C had two 1/24 cars on the go.

Finished models included a fine figure from Chris S keeping with his Arnhem theme, Phil L had a Volvo touring car in 1/24, Richard C brought along his 1/16 scale Sherman Howitzer RC tank kindly donated to him by Don, now in full working order, Mick E had two anti missile system models & Paul C showed off his latest build of a Mgebrov-Isotta-Fraschini Armoured Car.

Our next meeting on the 21st will be our annual photographic session, where we will take pics of the members best 5 recent models to go in the members gallery.
