Club Night – April 21st 2026

A sunny evening at the end of April saw club sales in evidence. Numbers were slightly lower due no doubt to the onset of sun, a nice change from the wet so far this year. A lot of bargains were to be had by the members who did turn up including Richard and Roger who have been absent as well as a prospective new member Jamie.

Sales reflected the interest of sellers as they sought to shed excess kits. Bob had WWI biplanes, Ruari 1/48 US jets and German fighters and Sibo 1/35 Armour. Paul was in a buying mood as was Rob, both seen leaving with a small haul.

WIPs’ and some finished models appeared. Toz had a fully crewed Jagdpanther and Ruari a completed Hasegawa Me109. Jamie’s bright red Viggen was the recent Airfix club kit. This old kit was being re-scribed and looks like it will be a labour of love. Sibo, Chris, Colin, Bob and Mick had WIPs’ on show also.
