Best laid plans of Mice and Men…

We were lined up to have a talk by Brian S tonight about “A Life in Aviation”, but we had a few technical difficults so that has had to be postponed until a later date.

But our Chairman came prepared with his “Chairman’s Quiz”. It had most of us scratching our heads and racking our brains for the answers to his 40 question quiz, covering Air, Land, Sea & modelling. Most of us managed between 15-20 correct answers, but the winner, there was some debate about the authenticity of the win, but with 33 points Richard L was the winner.

Sibo returned from his trip to the Belgium Nationals with a couple of gongs: Gold in the Diorama Category and Bronze in the Miscellaneous Category.
Well done Sibo for flying the flag across the waters in Europe Land.

Plenty of WIPs on display pus a few purchases.

A few of us attended the Tank Museum’s Model Show on Sept 23rd, great show, great display – thanks to Ray R, Chris S & Richard C, lots of attention from the visitors and from other clubs as well. Richards 1/24th scale Spitfire & Typhoon plus his Typhoon restoration diorama were a talking point.

This coming Saturday a few of the club will be flying the flag at the REME model show, if your going, pop along and say hello.
