Tuesday 6th March 2018 – Club/Theme Night
Tonight our club night’s theme is Weather.
A great turn out of weathering themed models:
Richard brought along his Airfix 1/32 scale Typhoon in a museum restoration diorama.
Brian had a Kamaz-63968 Typhoon-K 2017, Trumpeter 1/35 scale.
Steve had a Revell 1/32 Tornado
Mick’s Westland Whirlwind by Classic Frames in 1/48 scale and a Sturmtiger by Tamiya
Nick’s Airfix 1/48 scale Sea Hurricane
Tony had two Panavia Tornado GR.1s, one from 14 Squadron, Bahrain 1992 the over 27 Squadron RAF both Revell 1/48 scale.
Tom brought along – Hawker Tempest V (56 Squadron RAF) Revell, Hawker Typhoon 1b (198 Squadron, 123 Wing RAF) Airfix, Hawker “Centaurs” Tornado (No1 Squadron RAF 1942) Airfix, Hawker hurricane Mk 11 (56 Squadron RAF Manston 1941) Airfix, Hawker Hurricane Mk 11c (43 Squadron RAF Tangmere 1943) Airfix and a Dassault/Royce “Avon” Mirage III (GB), No 56 Squadron 1963. Chris had an Airfix 1/48 Scale Hawker Hurricane (501 ‘City of Gloucester’ Squadron).

Nick had two Airfix 1/48 Scale Hawker Seafury FR 11
Mick had a Hawk (Homing All the Wak Killer) MIM-23 1/35 Scale AFV Club,
Chris had a Curtiss Tomahawk Mk.11
..both of these where started at our annual “Flash Mod”.
Tod brought along his finished 1/48 scale Crusader.
All in all, another great turn out of different models, showcasing the clubs diverse modelling tastes.
